Ivars Research and Development team presents the A20 project, the new mechanism designed for Start Up and Operative seatings.
With its elegant and essential design, A20 features two compression springs arranged in parallel which guarantee a well-balanced movement. Plus, the type of springs employed assure greater stability and robustness.
Ease of use: a synchro body-balance mechanism with 3 locking positions adjustable by a unique lock/unlock lever which also activates the backrest height regulation.

It is also available in a version with a 5 locking positions.
A dedicated lever enables the user to adjust seat depth, total stroke 70mm.
As regards certifications, A20 has passed EN 1335-1:2020/A1:2022 tests and is compatible with Type A, Type B and Type C chairs.
A20 mechanism has been tested on a type A seat. To obtain it we suggest to use the plastic pick pry provided in the kit in order to optimize the backrest inclination.
